Welcome to the inaugural issue of our journal—an open-access, peer-reviewed publication devoted to evidence-based venous care, with a particular focus on conservative, hemodynamic approaches to chronic venous disease. This first issue centers on the CHIVA strategy (Cure Conservatrice et Hémodynamique de l'Insuffisance Veineuse en Ambulatoire), a treatment philosophy that corrects venous hemodynamics at defined escape points while preserving the saphenous trunk, in contrast to ablative or stripping techniques. The four articles presented here trace a complete arc: from technical standardization, through outcome optimization, to evidence in the most demanding clinical settings.
